Pools and Hot Tubs
Pools or what is commonly known as swimming pool is an enclosed artificial body of water that comes in different sizes and types. This aquatic structure is used for recreation activities, building designs and even sports. Pools can be placed over or in the ground and portable swimming pools are now available.
Spas and hotels have tubs and pools with hot water for relaxation. It can also bring therapy and healing potential when using the spa pools. Organizational club like the men’s club, women’s club, fitness centers and for hotels have pools with tubs and spas. In eastern countries like Japan the availability of spa’s that comes in different sizes and temperature is common.
Hot tubs are used for leisure, massage or hydrotherapy which ranges from average to large home-made tub or small pool with hot water. Commercial spas have hot tubs that include jet for massage means. The portability and availability of these hot tubs are appealing to customers since it can be put outdoors, indoors that is good for keeping privacy. Electric and natural gas are some of the ways in which the heating of the tubs are done. Wood fire heaters that can be submerged exist as well as the solar hot water system which involves a solar energy to raise the temperature of the water. Natural spring has hot tubs but the temperature is not always safe and properly regulated. That is why combination of cold water is a must to create a safe temperature for soaking.
The average heat of the hot tubs is maintained at 104°F (40°C). Temperature higher than this is known to threaten men’s health issues.
